The four stages of Website Design
This plan includes 5 sections, we include the header and the footer. In total, you will get 7 sections and 5 of your choice. We can help you choose these sections according to your needs in the welcome call you will schedule when you purchase a portfolio website.
Stage III
DESIGN
This is where we take all of your ideas and make them a reality. We use different builders to create the perfect portfolio website. We never want to be restricted to one design path. Brand Rescue’s website design process is simple because of our detailed questionnaire and the structure stage. The framing and flow of the website created beforehand makes it easier for your designer’s creative juices to flow. The design stage is all about putting everything together aesthetically.
Stage IV
Test
We go through a checklist to make sure we hit all of your website goals. This is a checklist we created to ensure that every website is working properly, doesn’t have any broken links or problems. Making sure the website has hit all of the marks to convert the right visitors. Once we are done testing and ensuring every section is responsive and optimized, your designer will email you a so you can schedule your website walkthrough.
Stage I
SETUP
Once your welcome call is completed and your questionnaire has been submitted, we will know everything we need to know about your vision. However, before we get to the fun stuff we have to do the tedious backend work. These tasks include transferring your domain, installing WordPress, SSL & all of the plugins your portfolio website needs. Once your website is fully set up, we will create a coming soon page with a countdown where people will be able to subscribe to your newsletter. This helps you get emails and promote your upcoming site while we work on it in the back end.
Stage II
STRUCTURE
This is where we create a site map, a plan to create a flow of information for your target audience. There are a couple of questions you need to ask. Who is coming to your website? Why are they coming there? What will they gain from coming there? Perhaps it’s to read or watch the content you post, hire you for a job or book you for an event. We will go over what sections you need to create a website where people to go from visitors to customers in just a couple of clicks. Creating a list of all of the elements that go on each page and telling a story that unfolds at every scroll. Talking about the value proposition.
